New server going online!

We are proud to announce that a new server will be going online in late January! The new Quad Core system will be much faster than our current server and will allow many more advantages for the company and allow for further growth.

This decision was made by our Network Operations Group and approved by the staff and administrators on December 14th after 3 unplanned outages occurred earlier this year. "The move will be an easy one, taking place late Saturday night when people are least likely to be online." says Bill in the Tier 2 Server Management Group. s5hosting.net will be the first to move to the new server and be tested, s5hosting.com will follow after adequate testing has been done. Once these 2 sites have been moved we will be moving some of the smaller sites. The projected timeline should come to an end sometime late Sunday afternoon.

If anyone has any problems after the move we are urging them to submit a support ticket as soon as possible. Support requests will be on a first come first serve basis and we don't want to have anyone waiting for support.

More information on this move and dates will be available as soon as dates are set.
